Concrete Grinding & Polishing

Just like other specialized techniques, concrete grinding and polishing is a multi-step process, requiring use of specially-designed equipment and tools. MGM achieves top quality results in concrete grinding and polishing due to latest equipment and well-trained workforce. We use machined equipped with diamond-segmented abrasives that helps to grind down concrete surfaces to the desired degree of smoothness and shine. We gradually progress from coarser-grit to finer-grit abrasive and the grit is a particle size of a diamond. We offer glossy, mirror-like finish. We use both – wet and dry methods to polish concrete, depending on the demand and requirements. Wet method has its advantages but dry methods are more commonly used now-a-days in the industry. The dry method we use, iss more faster, convenient and importantly, environment-friendly. In wet polishing our skilled professionals use water, to cool diamond abrasives, eliminating grinding dust. Water acts as a lubricant and thus, reduces the friction. The life of the polishing abrasives is improved. MGM uses planetary grinders, chemical densifiers, diamond tools and more modern equipment. We polish the concrete through the sequence of disks sending with 1800-3500 grit diamonds. After the job is completed, the concrete will have a glossy sheen and high reflectivity, without the use of any topical coating.
